Professionally known as HAUSER, the Croatian cellist Stjepan Hauser is passionate about showing the world the versatility of the cello. Alone or with 2CELLOS, he has explored repertoire from Lady Gaga to Tchaikovsky, and from Shakira to Shostakovich. When he first heard a cello on the radio, “it was a life-changing moment because it was the sound which was so special. I could feel these special vibrations. It was such a warm sound, the closest to the human voice, so tender, so warm and I was just drawn to it.”

Stjepan Hauser (Croatian pronunciation: ; born June 15, 1986) is a Croatian cellist, also part of a cello duo 2Cellos with Luka Šulić.
Other then with Luka Šulić, he has recorded an album with Damir Urban of Urban & 4 named "Urban & Hauser" and an album with Oliver Dragojević named "Noć Nek' Tiho Svira".
He has already performed as soloist in the venues in Europe and with many of the major orchestras. He performed in Croatia, Slovenia, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, Albania, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, South Africa, New Zealand, United States and the United Kingdom, with sensational debuts in Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, St. Martin in the Fields, Kings Place, St John's, Smith Square and South Bank Centre.
He is laureate of UK's most prestigious international competitions and awards.

Stjepan Hauser (Croatian pronunciation:[stjêpaːn xǎuser]; born 15 June 1986), known professionally as HAUSER, is a Croatian cellist. He was a member of 2CELLOS, along with Luka Šulić, and continues to perform solo.
Early life and musical training
Hauser was born in Pula, Croatia, into a musical family, where he began his musical education. His mother plays percussion. His sister is a journalist in Pula.
Hauser finished secondary school in Rijeka. He studied in Zagreb but moved to the United Kingdom where he studied under Natalia Pavlutskaya at Trinity College of Music (now Trinity Laban) London and completed his postgraduate studies with Ralph Kirshbaum as a Dorothy Stone Scholar at Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. He also studied with Bernard Greenhouse in the USA.
Career
Hauser has performed in more than 40 countries including debuts in Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert entré, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Southbank Centre and many more.
