    Secondly, I&#;m now officially cheering on Luis, as I drew his name in the office sweepstake that somebody suggested we do. That somebody was me.

    We have four families; Abrahams/Horowitz/Horwood; Bralofsky/Braley; Jacobs and Tchaikofsky/Sacof. Taking my pair, the (Abrahams) Horowitzs/Horwood and the (Bralofskys) Braleys. They escaped from different parts of "Mittel Europe" at different times.

    Abraham and Rachel Abrahams, nee Gess, (Horowitz), had been in England longer than the Bralofskys, having come here from Lithuania in about as a married couple without children.

    The book, &#;A Taste of Norman&#;s Life: Recipes and Stories from Norman Calder&#;, has now been released online.

    The author declared that writing his life story had always been an ambition and he had begun work on it before he even entered the Bake Off.
