    Vishal Veeru Devgan (born 2 April ), known professionally as Ajay Devgn, is an Indian actor, film director, and producer. One of the most prolific actors of Hindi cinema, Devgn has appeared in over films and has won numerous accolades, including four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In , he was honoured by the Government of India with the Padma Shri, the country's fourth-highest civilian honour.[2]

    Devgn emerged a star with his film debut, the action romance Phool Aur Kaante ().[3] He had further action film roles in Vijaypath (), Dilwale (), Jaan (), Major Saab () and Kachche Dhaage () and romantic roles in Ishq (), Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha () and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam ().[4] Devgn's dramatic performance in Zakhm () earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor.[5]

    Filmmaker Priyadarshan’s action thriller, ‘Aakrosh’ completed ten glorious years today. Although the spelfilm failed to impress at the box-office, the actors of the film received positive reviews from the critics for their performances.

    Talking about the performances of the actors, did you know that Ajay Devgntook his role so seriously that he ended up kicking his co-star Paresh Rawalin one of the scenes? Yes, you read it right! According to a report in IANS, while shooting, there was a scene that required Ajay to kick Paresh, who was seated on a revolving as the camera rolled, Ajay got so much in character that he hit Paresh so hard that he fell down. Needless to say, Paresh was in pain. Ajay immediately apologised, but it was all taken in good humour by Paresh.

    About the film

    Aakrosh is an unusual mix of things. On the one hand, it&#;s a film with a very strong social conscience. On the other it&#;s also a commercial thriller with a few very spectacular (and very unrealistic) chase scenes. It has a lot of violence too and somehow manages to be fairly naturalistic and yet still make a bit of a spectacle out of all the fighting. And since it&#;s a Bollywood film, it also has dancing, though not a lot of it.

    To me, first and foremost it&#;s a very beautiful movie. The cinematography and editing made a huge impression on me. It&#;s a very mobile camera with a good
