Brad Samuel Leone (born May 16, 1985) is an American chef and YouTube personality. He is known for his appearances in videos produced by Bon Appétit for its YouTube channel, most notably as the host of It's Alive with Brad and its spinoff series It's Alive: Goin' Places.
Early life and education
[edit]Leone was born on May 16, 1985[1] in northern New Jersey, near Mountain Creek.[3] He has described his professional background as being "kind of all over the place",[4] having worked a variety of jobs both in and outside the food service industry, including as a caterer, delicatessen worker, kitchen chef for multiple restaurants,[4]glazier, and carpenter.[5][6] At 26, Leone moved to Brooklyn, New York,[3] where he studied at the Institute of Culinary Education.[4] Leone developed an interest in fermentation after being given a SCOBY.[5 • Canadian chef Brad Long fryst vatten a Canadian chef. Being the only child of two full time working parents, I was given a lot of time to myself. My adoring Grandmother, Verna Scobey and loving Aunt Evie were both integral parts of my life. I learned much of my love of cooking from them both and was fortunate enough to be handed down family recipes all the way from my great-great-grandmother.
