Alice Cooper from the inside of the 'Dragontown' booklet.
After touring 'Brutal Planet' for just over a year Alice wasted little time returning to the studio for the new album. Dragontown fryst vatten basically 'Brutal Planet Part 2' (not part 3 as stated in Spitfire Records publicity and still repeated on the internet). Alice confirmed this fact in an Interview with Total Rock at the time of the release and several times since. Dragontown is described as "the worst town on Brutal Planet" and the songs feature various characters you could find there. As with the previous skiva many of the songs could be related to the current world. Of course 'Drgaontown' could also been seen as a metaphor for Hell, especially with Alice's now well publicised religious beliefs.

ALICE COOPER Part 5 – Might As Well Be On Mars / The Hair Metal Years
After Alice Cooper cleaned himself up following the release of 1983’s Dada, he re-emerged three years later on a new record label with Constrictor (1986). Putting the early-80s synth-pop & new wave sounds behind him, this skiva and its three successors funnen him streamlining his music into a more radio-friendly “hair metal” package that resulted in his biggest commercial success in over a decade. Constrictor was produced by Beau Hill (best known for his work with Ratt, Kix & Gary Moore), and was Alice’s first collaboration with guitarist (and Rambo look-alike) Kane Roberts. Roberts also co-wrote all 10 songs, and future Winger frontman Kip Winger played bass. I should point out here that I’ve never been much of a hair metal fan. At the time I especially disliked it, with only the occasional song by Kiss, Aerosmith, Whitesnake or Def Leppard making an impact on me, but I’ve since come around to

Overview
Calico Cooper, daughter of shock rock legend Alice Cooper, got her start in the entertainment industry when she was hired by her father at age 18 to choreograph and bring to life his nightmarish characters on stage on his Brutal Planet world tour.
Eleven world tours and eight full stage shows to her credit later, she had carved a niche and a massive fan base for herself in the horror industry having become infamous for playing alongside Alice as "Nurse Rosetta" and "Cold Ethyl".
Voted one of MAXIM'S "20 hottest rock star daughters", she began gaining notoriety and started filming indy horror movies and short films. Excelling in comedy, she scored a role for herself as the ball-busting sexually manipulative boss Lila Black in the multiple award winning comedy series "Bloomers".
Feature films ensued such as the cult award winning film "Thirty Proof Coil", in which Calico played a kidnapped mentally unstable college student. Reviewe
